The Friends of Batticaloa Hospitals (FOBH(UK)) is a registered Charity in England and Wales (Charity No-1145591) engaged in charitable work to support the underprivileged people living in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka.

The FOBH spends its money by;

1.  Providing funds in the form of Donations to improve the Health of people living in Eastern Sri Lanka.

2.  Improve the Health Facilities in eastern province of Sri Lanka, where there is a gap in government funding by organising events such as mobile clinics

3. Support to Children with nutrition, education, and health care

4. Support to elderly people in the community for health and well being.

Trustees of FOBH

Controlling the charitable work, management and administration of the FOBH on behalf of its beneficiaries are the responsibility of the Trustees of FOBH(UK). Currently the FOBH(UK) has 13 trustees.

This charity raises funds from the public but does not work with professional fundraisers or commercial participators.
